About the Opportunity
This is an open position with the FirstEnergy Service Company, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp.
This position reports to the Supervisor, Supply Chain Supplier Development and Contracts. This position can be sited at any of our locations within the FirstEnergy Territory. This is an onsite role.
The Supplier Development Coordinator is a member of the Supplier Development team within the Supply Chain organization. This team is responsible for ensuring that small and diverse suppliers are at the forefront in sourcing activities as well as reporting both externally and internally to key stakeholders on the status of our supplier development and small business programs.
The estimated pay range for this position is $100,725-$118,500 with a 20% differential in New Jersey.

- Adhere to all relevant FirstEnergy and Supply Chain policies, practices, and procedures.
Program Strategy, Governance & Compliance
- Maintain subject-matter expertise in supplier diversity principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices; effectively communicate program objectives and guide internal stakeholders.
- Support sourcing teams in integrating small and diverse suppliers into category strategies by evaluating supplier capabilities, identifying aligned opportunities, and assisting with onboarding and qualification.
- Partner with business units to increase utilization of small and diverse suppliers through opportunity identification, supplier recommendations, and strategic direction.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of Supplier Development and Small Business program frameworks to ensure alignment with federal and state requirements.
- Manage program governance, including program standards, documentation, controls, and operating cadence.
- Monitor regulatory changes and translate new requirements into internal processes, procedures, and training.
- Prepare and deliver program strategy, performance, and compliance updates to internal leadership and external regulatory bodies.
