Assistant Mechanical Project Manager/PM. At a minimum, needs to be able to:
1. Remain calm and focused in a fast paced environment
2. Read drawings
3. Interpret specifications
4. Must be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and be able to navigate the web for contract documents (e.g. download RFI’s and ASI’s from ftp sites)
5. Track submittals
6. Track orders and deliveries for their projects
7. Stay with or ahead of construction schedule
8. Track RFI’s, ASI’s, FN’s…etc
9. Complete AIA billings
10. Assemble close-out docs
11. Attend progress meetings
12. And the dreaded…….other duties as assigned

SBA Baltimore District Office has three job positions we are looking to fill for Business Opportunity Specialists. These are positions that are dedicated to support our 8(a)/ Business Division serving our small business procurement community. Any assistance you can give us in reaching out to qualified individuals interested in a career with the Federal Government, or currently employed within. There are three openings and we will be looking at all those qualified across these two postings(links below) to make our selection. One posting is for those qualified at the GS - 9 level and the second is for those more experienced that could qualify at the GS - 11 or 12 level. A brief description of the duties follows:
DUTIES:
Assist with Program Compliance and 8(a) Business Development to include annual and on-site business reviews, financial analysis of both business and participants, evaluation of success in the program and recommend participant continuation in program or termination. Assist in conducting or participating in training, matchmaking, outreach events and procurement visits to disseminate relevant information and guidance on SBA programs and services and to help small businesses do business with the government.
Assist in conducting or participating in Business Match-Making Event(s) or other outreach activities which match various Federal, State & local government organizations and prime/sub contractors with small businesses. Provides assistance through consultative and customer interactions with small businesses, procuring entities, collaborative partners, resource partners and the general public.
