MWMCA’s 9th Annual Spring Breakfast and Business Showcase Expo was a smashing success. Over 1600 guests attended from the Mid-Atlantic Region, America’s #1 Region for Minority and Woman Business Enterprise. Over ninety exhibitors came to identify women and minority-owned businesses, including former Olympic and world boxing champion, “Sugar” Ray Leonard, who is now a minority businessman, as Chairman of LandMatters, L.L.C who was awarded the, “Best New Minority Business of the Year.”
A highlight of the morning’s activities was the viewing of MWMCA’s “Best Get Clipped Videos of 2012.” This medley of various businesses showcasing their firm’s services and/or products displayed the passion of the business representatives to get their organizations in front of viewers who may want to do business with their company and/or governmental agency.
