WSSC Announces 23 Upcoming Contracts

Approximately 23 contracts will be advertised over the next several months on the WSSC's CBR. The next series of bids for three contracts will be posted on or before February 29, 2012. The contractors awarded these projects should have construction teams capable of executing repair, rehabilitation and replacement of sanitary sewer mains, manholes and related sanitary sewer infrastructure in an expeditious manner.

 

The WSSC encourages prospective contractors to maximize subcontracting opportunities for construction services for approved and certified small, local and minority business enterprise firms. The above referenced contracts will either contain a Small Local Business Enterprise (SLBE) subcontracting requirement or a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) subcontracting requirement. The WSSC encourages prospective contractors to communicate their efforts to subcontract construction services to the WSSC Small, Local and Minority Business Enterprise (SLMBE) Office (301-206-8800).
