Apply for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Management and Education Program
Md. Washington Minority Companies Association (MWMCA) is pleased to inform you of an opportunity for small businesses in Baltimore that we are reaching out to encourage you to apply.
The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses business management and education program is delivering a special session in Baltimore this coming January. 10,000 Small Businesses is an investment to help entrepreneurs create jobs and economic opportunity by providing them with greater access to education, financial capital, and business support services. MWMCA has fully embraced this enabling program.
In professional workshops, business owners learn about access to financial capital and build a powerful network of professional support. The curriculum focuses on practical business skills, including negotiations, employee management and marketing. Through 10,000 Small Businesses, program tuition is offered at no cost to the business owner and accepted applicants receive:
- Hands-on education for business growth
- Access to highly-trained professionals who understand what it takes to grow a small business
- An expanded peer network of small business owners from across the country
MWMCA has the opportunity to nominate a few select businesses to apply to the program early. Eligible businesses have at least $100,000 in revenues, two employees and have been in business at least two years. Applications are due this Fall on October 6th and I’d personally like to invite you to apply via www.10ksbapply.com. Please select Baltimore as the program location when completing the application. Classes will allow business owners from the Baltimore area to interact with each other in new ways.
