Project Description:
The Maryland Port Administration (“Administration”) is soliciting competitive bids from qualified contractors to furnish all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for: Demolition and removal of existing concrete wharf deck, railroad tracks, deck hardware and appurtenances, driving new piles, dynamic pile testing, cathodic protection system, and construction of new concrete wharf deck. Also included are maintenance of traffic, substructure repairs to include core drilling, pile jacketing, petrographic analysis, underwater inspection, and support of existing utilities, along with new railroad construction and replacement of deck fittings and hardware, and all related work at 2700 Broening Highway, Baltimore, Maryland, 21222. The contract awarded shall allow for one hundred twenty (120) work days for the completion of the work. Liquidated damages of eight hundred ninety-three dollars ($893.00) will be assessed for each day the work under the contract remains incomplete
