LDBE, MBE, WBE and Veterans - Metropolitan Washington Airports Authoarity (MWAA) Certified Contractors
The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) has initiated a Capital Construction Program (“CCP”) through the year 2024 at Reagan National that includes the long-term redevelopment of Terminal B/C (“Terminal B/C Long-Term Redevelopment”). Terminal B/C was originally constructed by the Authority and opened in 1997. The Terminal B/C Long-Term Redevelopment will be contracted, managed and funded by the Authority. The objective of the Terminal B/C Long-Term Redevelopment is to replace existing remote hardstand operations with gate facilities, and improve connectivity that provides equitable and efficient passenger level of services. The Terminal B/C Long-Term Redevelopment consists of the following components: new concourse and enabling work for same (“New Concourse”); new security access for National Hall and enabling work for the same (“Secure National Hall”); relocation of the Authority’s corporate office building (“COB”) functions to Historic Terminal A and the South Hangar Line and enabling work for the same (“COB Relocation”); new parking garage in the south area of Reagan National (“Parking Garage”); and, potentially, the development and construction of roadway improvements (collectively, the “Program”). The design and construction of the Parking Garage is forecast for the 2020 to 2022 timeframe. The Program must be implemented with minimal impact on Airport operations. Extensive planning, coordination, review and phasing of design and construction packages are required. Construction must be performed safely, must conform to specified quality standards and building code requirements, and must be completed on schedule and within budget. the Authority has set a voluntary MBE/WBE participation percentage of Fifteen percent (15%) of the aggregate dollar amount of all Task Orders. The LDBE requirement for this Solicitation is Twenty-Five percent (25%) of the total contract value. The total project schedule is seven (7) years with forecasted construction periods as follows:

• Historic Terminal A – Summer 2016 to April 2017
• South Hangar Line – Summer 2016 to June 2017
Secure National Hall – May 2017 to May 2020
New Concourse – May 2017 to December 2021
