MD 355 Crossing (BRAC)

Montgomery County is soliciting Statements of Qualification (SOQ) responses for Design-Build services for the MD355 Crossing (BRAC) project. The County is seeking qualified Design-Build entities prepared in all respects to undertake completing the design and construction of the Project. The REOI is the first step of a two-step procurement process. In order to be invited to proceed to the second step, an Offeror must timely respond to this REOI and be one of up to three (3) Design-Build entities selected to receive a subsequent RFP solicitation. The Project focus is on the South Wood Road/South Drive Metrorail access and is being conducted in conjunction with the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure Act (BRAC) actions. The Work is generally defined as follows: MD 355 Pedestrian/Bicycle Underpass, Deep Elevators, and Transportation System Management/Transportation Demand Management Improvements and MD 355/Jones Bridge Road intersection improvements. Questions must be submitted in writing by Proposers regarding the REOI, including requests for clarification and requests to correct errors. Project questions shall be submitted in letter format via e-mail with return confirmation receipt. No oral requests or personal visits will be honored.
