Project Description:
The work consists of a new 67,538sf two story elementary school. The project is designed to LEED Gold standard. Site work will include circulation parking, bus drop-off, playgrounds and playfields. Construction is masonry cavity wall with brick and metal panel siding. Part of the roof is vegetative material. The HVAC system is designed as a chilled beam. Data and communication systems meet the latest PGCPS standards. A goal of 30 percent of the total value of the project will be achieved from MDOT certified Minority Business Enterprises. This project is subject to the Prevailing Wage Rates.
